Bagpipe Concert

Last night we went as a family to the Layton Amphitheater to see a Wasatch & District Scottish Pipe Band concert. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a nice night out. The musicians are very talented. The MC mentioned that they had won awards at competitions. One of the drummers is Richard Pack, who is one of Glenn's counselors in the Bishopric. Even the grandchildren seemed to enjoy it. Here are some of the pictures we took.

The kids had a fun time during Intermission. It brought back memories of rolling down the hill at Grandpa and Grandma Smith's house in Pocatello.

Richard is the one on the left in the picture below.

... and the one in the middle

He even posed for us in this one.

Looks like fun. I like bagpipes. The pictures of the kids rolling down the hills are cute.

Pam, I have sent out invitations but they probably won't arrive until Wednesday or so because of the Holiday. We are having Natalie's baby shower next Saturday at my house from 11-1. She is registered at BabiesRus, but if you would like to donate to a group gift, please call me or Julie.
